To Create awareness and educate women about the importance of antenatal natal, postnatal checkups and Childcare. Motivation of pregnant women to avail the services provided for them and for their children. To Help women to access to health services provided by the government.. To Explain about the importance of immunization to their children.
Organized Awareness camps for Women & Adolescent girls. They were explained about the RTI, STI, HIV/AIDS and Personal hygiene. Organized Health camps and gynic camps in the villages. Prenatal, postnatal checkups conducted for pregnant women. Free medicines and iron & folic acid tablets were distributed. Intuitional deliveries were promoted, local daiees in village were given training and delivery kits for conducting home deliveries. High risks cases were identified, provided necessary checkups. Reduced the maternal infant mortality.
Selected Village Health Guides (VHGs) for all villages. They were given training in primary health care and their services were utilized for implementing the project. Achieved 90% referral of high risk cases to referral hospitals. The children were provided immunization and achieved100% immunization in villages. Motivated and achieved 100% family planning target. 15 Gynaic camps were organized in villages.1420 Women provided health checkups and medicines. 83 Awareness camps organized for 3175 Women, 81 Awareness camps organized for 1493 Adolescent girls, 53 Awareness camps organized for 1786 Eligible couples
