COMMUNITY MARRIAGES

STEPS is performing community marriages every year for the poor people. They were provided with mangala suthras and other requirements and providing food for all the people who attend this occasion.
           
                   

LEGAL ASSISTANCE AND COUNSELLING CELL FOR WOMEN:

STEPS in association with mandal legal literacy authority and local lawyers organized several legal literacy camps in its target villages with a special focus to provide legal assistance and knowledge to the deprived section.  The President of STPES as a member of Lok Adalat, Srikalahasti have settled many cases by arbitration. Counseling services were initiated to guide, support and resolve the problems being encountered by the women at home like Violence, exploitation, gender bias, dowry death etc.                                                                                        The chief functionary of STEPS as a president of women vigilance cell, Srikalahasti solved many problems of women in different situations. The deprived women were provided with necessary guidance and legal assistance.
